My name is Amanda and I am 28 years old. I was born on a sunny day in July (1985) in Middelburg, the capital city of Zeeland. I grew up in a little village near the North-Seacoast. It is a lovely place to grow up, as it is situated close the beach. The beach and the forest close by are excellent for a relaxing walk. I remember building a lot of tree houses with my younger brother.

I have been raised with two cultures and one nationality. My father is from the Netherlands and my mother is from the Dutch Antilles, Curacao. I absolutely love and appreciate both cultures. I love the exuberant vibe of the Antilleans and I appreciate the down-to-earth mentality of the Dutch.

Furthermore I like to dance (street dance, ballroom dance and Latin dance) and listen to music. My other hobbies are acting, pageants, drawing and making/creating clothes.

In June 2007 I graduated at Hogeschool Zeeland in Vlissingen. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (BBA) – International Business and Languages. During my study at Hogeschool Zeeland I went to France to learn more about the French culture and language. I did a work placement in the North of France (Douai) and I followed courses in the South-East of France (Annecy). After graduation, I decided to continue studying. I started a Master’s in Policy, Communication and Organization (MSc Organization science) at VU University in Amsterdam where I finished my final thesis in May 2012. 

Now I would like to develop myself further in various directions. I strive for a great and challenging job in Customer Relationship Management, Change Management or Facility Management.
